We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the daystar arise in your hearts. ( 2 Pet. 1:19)

Recently while praying in my bedroom, I was shown two long white candles in candlesticks hovering side by side. They were positioned immediately below my ceiling light fixture in my dining room.  The fixture – completely white – is composed of 3 bright lights with 5 long fanning blades attached to its round base. (It bears noting that I recently changed the bulbs in this fixture from ‘Soft White’ to brighter ‘Daylight’ bulbs – it is exciting how the Holy Spirit uses things in the natural to reveal GOD’s Truth.)

From a biblical perspective, white represents the inner manifestation of Redemption and the outward manifestation of GOD’s Righteous works in HIS Saints.  (Is. 1:18; Rev. 19:8) The 3 daylights together represent the existence and operation of the most Holy Trinity – the Three in One – GOD the FATHER, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The 2 candlesticks represent illuminated Believers. And 5 is a biblical number affiliated with Grace.

A prototype of the 2 candlesticks is discerned in Zechariah’s vision and brings to light their identities. (Zech. Chapter 4) One candlestick can be no other than Prophet Zechariah himself who heard the Word of the Lord and who delivered the message to Zerubbabel. “THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD UNTO ZERUBBABEL not by power, not by might but by my Spirit” says the Lord”. It follows that  Zerubbabel is the other candlestick fated to receive the Word and be fortified and guided by the Spirit to help build the Temple of the Lord. These are the 2 candlesticks symbolically seen by Zechariah and identified by a particular angel (more about this angel in future posts.)

“……Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.” So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. ‘Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”  (Zechariah 4:1-8)

On one level of understanding, Zechariah’s vision presently typifies that it is the prophetic written Word of GOD that gives Light; that is to say, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to Believers on earth.  And it is the Holy Spirit – working in synergy with the Word – who prepares Believers to accommodate Him as He takes residence in their inner temples. (1 Cor. 3:16) Indeed, “not by might nor by power but by my Spirit” will the Lord build temples not pitched with human hands. Within the context of the Vision, the fanning blades represent the Wind of the Holy Spirit that stokes and fans the inner Light – the fire – of righteousness in Believers (an inworking manifestation of Faith).

On another important level of understanding, the 2 candlesticks in the Book of Zechariah and in the Book of Revelation (Rev. 11) represent 2 actual individuals on earth. It follows that the candlesticks seen in the vision also typify latter-day witnesses chosen to testify. These are the planting of the Lord’s – chosen Trees of Righteousness carved into illuminating candlesticks! The oil that flows from them are gifts of the Spirit – of Prophecy – that have been ignited and fanned into their spirit man! Blades revolving at high speed are invisible to the naked eye. Not for them! They see and hear through the ordinary like Prophet Zechariah. They receive the Word of the Lord and it gives them strength and guidance like Zerubbabel! Their works of righteousness is an outworking manifestation of Faith! They will be empowered to accommodate even greater Light to help prepare (I am hearing “assist”) a people to understand GOD’S plan of redemption and salvation.  And as was the case with Zechariah, angels will be sent to help (seen in previous and recent visions). Grace, grace they will shout for they understand the plan of salvation. And for a time, mountains of obstacles and of obstructions will be flattened before them! Their strength is supernatural – not of this earth – they are anointed and they are ordained! Though their missions have been, is and will be even more increasingly difficult in coming days, they will be strengthened and refreshed by the guiding Light and fresh Winds of heaven! (The Light fixture). Praise GOD for HIS grace through His Son Jesus Christ!

“Then answered I, and said unto him (the angel) What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? ….Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.” (Zech. 4:11-14)

(It is important to note that some candlesticks have lost their fire.  I cannot speak for GOD on this matter but HE is good and faithful to forgive and restore as HE sees fit.  But make haste carefully – to protract a great design is to put it in jeopardy.)

GOD’s Plan of Redemption through His Son is a work of unfathomable Love and of Grace for a humanity steeped in darkness and in need of salvation. Our Loving FATHER does not want anyone to perish but to live in freedom and have eternal life. To be prepared and ready for the great Capstone, the Bridegroom and bright Daystar, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Preparing the Way

I am hearing Best Friend”.   “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” (Jn. 15:15)  Thank you Lord Jesus!

Keep the Faith.  It gives Light. It refreshes. It regenerates. It gives strength. Were Zechariah and Zerubbabel here today, they would both agree that it moves mountains! (Mk. 11:23)
