And Jesus Called a Little Child
“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.” (Mat. 18:2-5)
“Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.” (Mat.18.10)
This is a page in my blog that I have intentionally been ignoring because my focus is primarily to bring attention to GOD’S plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. There has been a concern on my part that perhaps too much focus would be given to the writer’s identity, her visions, dreams and words of knowledge at the exclusion of personally relying on Jesus Christ and His Word. And yet at the same time, it is recognized that readers do want to know something about the author.
GOD’s call on my life began at a very young age. At 5 years old, I was resting in my bed one day and looking up at the ceiling. But the ceiling had disappeared! Instead I saw an open sky – space infinitum – with myriads of bright shining stars. Although this might appear abnormal to some, it was beautiful and normal to me. I tried to tell my mother who was napping beside me what I was seeing. But she was sleeping and could not hear me. It was one of numerous visions that would manifest – and continue to manifest – but which I kept secret for a long, long time. I remained incognito in this respect even with close family members and friends. That is until recently when I began writing this blog. As the saying goes, the secret is out.
Later, through acquired biblical knowledge, I understood that this early vision symbolized my inheritance as a child of GOD and as a child of the Promise. (Jn.1:12) The Holy Spirit works in wondrous ways. It certainly is meaningful that that this truth – this vision – was shown to me as an innocent child who had not yet been conditioned by the world. And now as an adult, I recognize this vision to mean that I am an adopted heir of the Abrahamic covenant which wend its way through Isaac and was, ages later, ratified by Jesus Christ and His New Covenant. In brief, these bright stars shining in space symbolized Abraham’s descendance. A descendance that now consists of all who are born in the Spirit through the Lord Jesus Christ:
“Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed: (Gen. 26:2-5)
“For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, ‘In Isaac your seed shall be called.’ That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” (Rom. 9:6-9)
“He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.” (Eph. 1:5)
In 1998 I was guided to relocate to the state of New York from Canada. It was not easy leaving family, friends, home, career and lifestyle. But it was a profound call that I needed to answer. It was there that the visions and dreams began intensifying and occurring more frequently. And it was there that I began an indepth study of scriptures. In one particular vision during those very early years, I was shown seeds interspersed throughout my hair. Again because I was lacking scriptural knowledge, I did not understand the vision very well. Only through a study of the Word were the seeds recognized as biblical truths that were implanted in the fertile grounds of my mind by the Sower, also known as Jesus Christ (Parable of the Seed and the Sower: Mat. 13). The only One who can sprout these seeds – open our understanding of the Word – through the Holy Spirit.
“Then He (Jesus) opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.” (Lk.24:45)
These biblical seeds have germinated and continue to germinate through the Word and through the administration of the Holy Spirit via visions, dreams and Spoken Words. And after all these years, it is time to share them openly with all who are moved and guided to read here.
Finally in summary of this page, I want to acknowledge and sincerely thank that special person who recognized the gift and encouraged me to create this blog. It was the push I needed. And for those other special people in my life, you are hopefully now more aware of the call on my life and what took place during those many years away from our home country. What was my secret is now my gift – the Lord’s gift – to you.
And finally, finally, I hope that what is shared in this blog will minister to all who read here, as much as it did – and still does – to me.
Keep the Faith, it’s what keeps all who are His!
