“We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer.” — Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Pastor, Theologian and Nazi dissident was hanged by the SS on the morning of April 9, 1945, in the courtyard of a detention building. His last words: “This is the end—for me, the beginning of life.”
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (Jn. 3:36)
I am hearing in the Spirit that Dietrich was an example of the Lord Jesus’ love and compassion. (Mat. 14:14; Lk. 4:18-19). May his testimony be a Light that sets the world on fire.
