To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col. 1:27)

The Vision

A few days ago while studying about the Holy Spirit, a woman was shown in a vision. A brilliant white light from up above descended on her head first. It dispersed into different bright colours as it went all the way down through her body and formed a circle-like effect around her feet.

The Interpretation

Wow! The brilliant white light is Jesus Christ whose Spirit was symbolically shown descending, indwelling and anointing His faithful body on earth (the woman/the redeemed Church). The different colours represent the different operations and diversified gifts of the Holy Spirit flowing in a unified body. And I am also reminded of Isaiah who described 7 different Spirits who are also present in the throne room of God. A throne encircled by… a rainbow of colour!

All this to say that we are witnessing Joel’s prophecy of God pouring out His Spirit during these last days when darkness is prevailing around the world. (Joel 2:28-29 and Acts 2:16-18) According to prophecies, the time of the Gentiles will come to an end one day. Let His anointing and gifts be used wisely and let us make haste carefully. Isaiah said: “And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. (Is. 11:2)

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith He that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. (Rev. 3:1)
