Salt of the Earth as an Idiom: Someone of great worth and reliability.
The Vision
A large explosion was shown on planet earth this morning which is not symbolic; it speaks of things to come. But, instead, let me tell you something refreshing and encouraging! In a vision two days ago, a map of a country which appeared to be the United States was shown. (It is highly probable that it is symbolic of land everywhere in the world.) Something was splattering like raindrops on this land. And then the following Words of Knowledge were spoken: There Will Be Salt.
Interpretation
GOD’S Spirit is being poured out to restore the salt! In a vision some years ago, a woman was shown luxuriating in salt. The Woman symbolizes the spirit-filled Church who is being preserved for such a time as this. And She will be a testimony, a Light and the Salt of the earth during these latter days. (Mat. 5:14-16/Joel 2:28-31) Take care not to let this precious anointing be trodden underfoot. Savour it, use it wisely for the benefit of all, thank GOD for it and protect it.
Ye are the salt of the earth. But if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men. (Mat. 5:13 Cf. Mk.9:50)
Faithful Believers are of great worth and reliability only because of having been redeemed by the blood of GOD’S Lamb. And His Spirit lives in us! (1 Cor. 3:16)
