For nations shall rise against nation and (the realm of) kingdoms against kingdom….and because iniquity shall abound the love of many will wax cold…..(Jesus referring to some of the signs associated with the last days in Matthew Chapter 24.)

I do not listen much to the news anymore. And when I do, it is only from credible sources. But this morning’s headlines caught my attention. It is reported that Canadians and other vacationers are called to shelter in place while angry drug cartels are terrorizing at least 20 of the 32 states in Mexico.

It is yet another sign, among many others, typically associated with the last days. And with it Elijah’s last call to repentance is echoing very loud and clear.

There is only One secure shelter and safe place and that is to abide in the Lord daily. (Psalm 91)
