For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (Jn. 3:17) ♥
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1 Jn. 4:9)
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rom. 5:8)
