Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Ps. 1:1-3)

A Remembrance

It’s the time of year when decorative acorns are seen everywhere and it keeps reminding me of a vision from years ago. When that happens, it is understood that it is time to revisit and post its meaning so that he or she who reads it can ‘run with it.’ (Hab., 2:2:3)

What Happened?

An inordinately giant-sized oak acorn falling from above and onto a fertile forest floor suddenly appeared in my field of vision. It’s difficult to put into words but as the acorn struck the ground, a type of soft sonic boom was heard.

Much More Than An Acorn

An oak acorn is a fruit produced by the oak tree. And meaningfully, an acorn’s seeds reproduce into new oak trees only when it falls onto the forest floor. From a spiritual understanding its life-giving seeds represent, by analogy, renewal and new beginnings. They are seeds that can only be planted by the Sower from above in Heaven: Jesus Christ. It falls to reason that heaven’s holy Sower was planting seeds characteristic of strength, stability and endurance as symbolized by the great Oak Tree.

Sharing This Vision With You Because….

…it brings to remembrance that we are only a couple of weeks away from a New Year: 2024. A time when many reflect on what to anticipate for the coming year. In brief, this message is shared with specific intentions: To help bring to remembrance the importance of always allowing the Life-giving Word in combination with the Holy Spirit to continue their awesome work in us. That is to say, to help bring to fruition renewals as we are being changed from glory to glory into the image of Christ in anticipation of new beginnings.(2 Cor. 3:18) But most specifically, in this case, for the purpose of one unprecedented prophetic new beginning: the new heaven and the new earth.

Until that happens, we are called to resolutely stand in the strength, stability and endurance of a great new Oak Tree who has matured, grown and persevered through the harsh elements of this world. A strong and fortified Oak Tree planted by the rivers of the Holy Spirit; a Tree who does not wither during hardships but who allows faithful works of righteousness – which are really the fruitful works of Christ in us – to multiply in His Service! (Jn. 14:12-18; Col. 1:27) Oak Trees that will help advance the New Kingdom not only for any New Year but also for the coming New Age!

And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. (Is. 61:1-4 Cf. Jesus in Lk. 4:17)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (Rev. 21:4-5)
