It’s official: The NDP Leader resigned and the Liberals won as a Minority Government. This means that the Conservatives retain a majority of the seats and hold the elected government into account. That is to say, the liberals must have the support of the other political party to pass laws. (In our riding, the Conservative candidate won the MP seat. And our provincial Progressive Conservative Premier won the snap election recently. )
Revisiting The Dream: December 2023
In a dream, a few days before Christmas, I was a passenger in a vehicle that was driving on a straight and narrow road. At one point, I looked outside the window and noticed that there were political signs on the right side and left side of this road. The signs on one side were red and promoted the Liberal Party of Canada; whereas the signs on the other side were blue and promoted the Conservative Party of Canada. It was then that I heard a voice speak out loud the name “Poilievre”. The name of the candidate representing the Conservative Party of Canada.
Post Election Interpretation – It Is What It Is
The dream captured what would take place in this election. The Liberals were on one side and the Conservative were on the other side of the narrow road that ran in the middle of both parties. The NDP was nowhere to be seen. And although Poilievre lost his seat, there are still ways to get back into the House. As the saying goes, it’s not over til it’s over. Most importantly and as the dream conveyed, Canadians (and all Believers) are called to find the straight gate with the narrow road that leads to life. It means that we keep focused on the Lord and do not deviate to the right nor to the left. It means that those who have been called in this nation must continue to shine the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It means that we remain joyful and at peace because the real Kingdom is not of this world. It means trusting that the Lord has plans that He will execute in His own time and in His own ways. Watch Me (Words of Knowledge). It means that we keep the Faith!
Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left. (Prov. 4:25-26)
