Words of Knowledge

Yesterday evening during my quiet time with the Lord, I was thinking about the violence erupting in Mexico when suddenly the following Words of Knowledge were spoken: The Pollution of the World.

In the Natural

In the natural, Pollution is anything and everything that contaminates the world and its ecosystem. It adversely affects the air that we breath, the water we drink and the food we eat. Genotoxic agents can damage human DNA increasing the risk of cancers and other illnesses.  Nothing is spared its effects: polluting mutagens can even alter the DNA of plants, animal and marine life.  It wasn’t a coincidence that while researching this topic, several articles displayed large industrial stacks with dark toxic plumes of smoke billowing up into the sky over towns, cities and bodies of water.  It uncannily resembled the dark noxious plumes of smoke from incinerated vehicles and homes mounting up in the sky over Puerto Vallarta.

In the Spiritual

Clearly the Spoken Words of Knowledge were primarily pointing to Pollution in the spiritual sense. A quick Bible search on the topic this morning revealed this Word and its derivatives to mean: spiritual defilement, idolatry, moral corruption including the shedding of human blood.  In 2 Peter 2:20, Pollution is described in Strong’s Concordance within the context of a “putrid marsh.”  Meaning that the toxic effluent sewage factory of the world is the source of infection.  And the only remedy is found in the knowledge, saving grace and redemption plan of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Praise the Lord and thank you Jesus.

How grievous it must be for our patient and loving GOD to see HIS creation become so increasingly destroyed and contaminated by the defilement and corruption of this fallen world and a spiritually sinful and morally infected humanity.   It must be like a rising and offensive smoke to HIS nostrils. (Is. 65:5)

Stay close to the Lord, abide IN His Spirit and remain IN His Word.
