Vision
An elderly white-haired and white-bearded man standing beside a tall horizontal wall map was shown. The Word IRAN was written in black bold capital letters and was positioned in the very centre of this map. The vision ended.
Interpretation
In this case, the elderly white-haired man represents Wisdom (perhaps a symbol representing the Ancient of Days) that was demonstrating Iran as being a focal point of darkness, a linchpin of friction, in the Middle East. A country that presently holds surrounding nations in immense tension because of their refusal to resolve conflict and enmity that has existed for thousands of years. And can I remind you that this threat doesn’t stem from innocent civilians and peaceful every day citizens but rather from a repressive, radical Islamist leadership having a web or network of militant proxies.
When GOD Intervenes
GOD works and moves mysteriously in and through time in His own ways in order that all men would come to repentance and to His Divine Light. But if the people and the nations continue to militate against HIS divine order, He will eventually intervene. This pattern can be discerned in the Amakelites which were given 400 years to turn from their wicked ways and repent before final judgment was executed.
If fallen rulers ultimately refuse to do what is right and godly, we must remember that human authority and might is never the final word. The Lord Himself will furiously Roar through space and time; will pour out His contempt and will disarm them. Man may plot and radical regimes may build vast networks of tension and wickedness but they cannot outmanoeuvre the Creator.
Occupy and Pray
To put it mildly, this is an epic and critical time in human history. And because we are called to “occupy until the Lord comes”, this vision is a call for intercessory prayer. I am also hearing the Word: “Sacrifice.” This means that by linking fasting, worshipping and giving thanks through Jesus Christ, faithful Believers add extra weight to prayers.
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim. 2:1-2)
May my prayer be set before You like incense, my uplifted hands, like the evening offering..(Ps. 141:2)
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Heb. 13:15)
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Col. 3:17)
