The angel had a golden reed, to measure the holy Jerusalem, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof; and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. And be measured the wall thereof, a hundred forty and four cubits, which is the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. (Rev. 21:15-17)
While thinking about the following visions and contemplating the interpretation, the Word Testify was spoken.
Two Visions
About twelve years ago in a vision, a Christian woman who was being measured in breadth and in width by an angel with a type of measuring stick or ribbon was shown. That is to say, she was being measured from the top of her head to the bottom of her neck. Then from shoulder to shoulder. And then from her neck to the bottom of her feet. Later in a following vision, a Christian Woman was once again shown wearing a faded-out jean jacket. While removing her jacket she saw that she was wearing a very bright white robe highlighted with a bright red blood mark on the area of her chest.
‘The’ White Robe
A Christian Woman, in my dreams and visions, symbolically represents the Church Body. In this case the vision was conveying that the Church was, even at that time, being measured for her white linen robe of righteousness. Without it, she cannot enter into eternal life; into the heavenly New Jerusalem, nor partake of the Wedding Feast and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. It was understood that measuring her head meant that it was her headship and authority who is Christ that was being taken into account. (Eph. 1: 22-23) A Word of Knowledge today revealed her shoulders to represent strength: our GOD-given ability to faithfully carry our earthly crosses which are various and unique to each Believer. And the body itself, which connects all members and parts, represents the growing and redeemed Church’s unified body. It also represents faith-induced works of righteousness. (Eph. 4:15-17; Rev. 19:8) Most importantly, the blood-marked super white robe in the second vision means that we cannot be clothed with this heavenly garment unless we have been redeemed by the life-giving blood of the Lamb (the blood mark). While thinking about this, the Word “purchased” was spoken.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Cor. 6:19-20)
Removing Earthly Garments
Church! One day we will be removing our outer earthly garments (jean jacket) in an unimaginable way. It will be replaced with a purchased, blood-bought garment that will be our ticket to the greatest Wedding Feast and Marriage Supper ever in the eternal New Jerusalem! Until then, there will be earthly trials and tribulations but be of good cheer! The healing Christ, through the Holy Spirit, will not stop communing, encouraging, fortifying and guiding His faithful. Never! Quite the contrary! And yet! There will also come a time, in accordance with prophesies, when the Antichrist will arise and make it very difficult for people on earth to find salvation in Jesus Christ: those who make it through will form part of the latter-day Tribulation Saints! We are highly and greatly encouraged to let the Holy Spirit, made available through the finished works of Christ, make us ready, righteous and white now while time still affords us the opportunity to do so.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. (2 Cor. 5:2-4)
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Rev. 7:14)
