I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame. (Job 29:15)

After having prayerfully inquired if the Lord wanted to send a message for the Church around the world, the following vision unfolded.  Prescription sunglasses were shown with heart-shaped frames.  The heart on the right side of the frame, interestingly, appeared more pronounced.

Sunlight and the Human Body

The human body needs sunlight for health and to function properly but too much of it can have adverse effects. It can damage the DNA of human skin cells that leads to cancer; it can cause dehydration, hyponatremia, heat exhaustion and heatstroke.  But I digress – to remain within the scope of the vision it is noteworthy that too much sunlight can cause serious eye disorders that lead to blindness. Solar Retinopathy occurs when UV light literally burns a hole in the retinal tissues which results in a blind spot in the central vision. Wearing sunglasses is an important medium that help protect our eyes from bright sunlight and high-energy visible light that can discomfort and damage the eyes. They soothingly allow us to see and perceive objects more efficiently in bright sunshine. I really enjoy my brand of Eagle Vision sunglasses for long-distance driving as they allow me to see comfortably for hours without eye strain.

GOD’S Light & the Spiritual Body

Briefly, this vision symbolically conveys that when we as Believers walk in GOD’S Light, we are equipped with protective and corrective eye wear that allows us to perceive the things of this world through the filter of heart-shaped lenses: GOD’S Love. And the Light that we are walking in is the Word and awesome glory of the Lord. A glory so unfathomable that our physical bodies in the natural cannot completely and in full measure sustain it. A glory that can be likened to high voltage spirit energy that only the highest heavenly realms can accommodate. Consider Apostle Paul’s blinding experience when the Lord appeared to him on his way to Damascus!  Albeit the Lord still lives in us and we in Him.  And as we grow in Him, we are being uniquely transformed in proportion to His image from glory to glory until the day of complete transformation: glorification. And then we shall see Him as He is for we shall be changed into His likeness. (1 Jn. 3:2) Praise GOD!

I am not asking on behalf of them alone, but also on behalf of those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one as you Father are in me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that you have sent Me. I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one. (Jn. 17:22)

The Right Side

I keep my eyes always on the LORD.  With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Ps. 16:8)

It is very uncommon not to have a dominant eye.  In this case, it is appropriate that the heart (love) on the right side of the frame was highlighted because it is the side of RIGHTeousness.  And this should always be the Believer’s primary focus: to Love GOD with all our hearts, souls and minds first and foremost! A very appropriate message during these latter days of the final harvest.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. (Ps. 121:5-8)

The LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. (Ps. 146:8)

Summing it Up

In brief, to walk according to GOD’S Love means that we are walking in the Spirit and are better able to discern the things of this world according to His Truth. GOD’S Love is immeasurable and is never without Truth. To remove these corrective metaphoric sunglasses – Love and truth – means that we are seeing the world with human eyes. That is to say with impaired perception; with earthly wisdom, distorted knowledge and understanding that ultimately will lead to spiritual blindness and a stumbling faulty walk. But praise GOD that Jesus came to bring illumination and restore vision to the blind!  It is because of Him and His finished works in combination with the Holy-Spirit and His inspired Word that we can keep walking in the Light securely until the last day.

The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed…(Jesus)

Keep the Faith.  And keep focused on the Lord because His Love in us never fails!
