….And there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. (Prov. 18:24)
Sometimes the Lord speaks to us in unusual ways to confirm His Word. And so it happened this morning when the following Word of Knowledge was spoken: Friend. Later, I unexpectedly found a pack of lozenges that reads: Fisherman’s Friend. Coincidence? No. Indeed, scriptures teach that Believers who know and apply the Word; who help advance the kingdom with their works and who minister to the lost are friends of the Lord. They have, in turn, the best Friend ever. His Name is: Jesus Christ.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (Jn. 15:15-17)
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10)
And he saith to them, Follow me and I will make you fishers of men. (Mat. 4:19)
I am hearing that this Word of Knowledge is established beyond doubt! Praise the Lord and thank you Jesus.
