Preface | Calamities in Canada (And the U.S.)
I have never had a vision shown as often as this one! Leave alone twice in the same day. Today’s visions are a follow up to the previously-posted message and warning entitled: Flooding in Canada and the U.S. dated April 18, 2026, linked here. GOD is calling the people and Leaders of Canada and America to the urgency of this calamitous matter. (Ps. 2)
The Visions
This morning two visions were shown with emphasis on Canadian and American regions surrounding a large area of The Great Lakes again. In the first vision, the entire region was emphasized and encircled. About twenty minutes later, a second vision of land hilighted in pinkish red surrounding The Great Lakes was again shown. It was followed by this spoken Word of Knowledge: “Flooding“.
After a search on the topic this morning, I discovered that as of April 23rd at least 8 northern communities in Ontario were declared states of emergencies. Previous to that nearly half of Michigan’s counties, including Wisconsin, were also under states of emergencies as historic flooding caused rivers to reach major and record levels damaging infrastructure and threatening dams. (Wisconsin has extensive coastlines on Lake Michigan and to the east of Lake Superior to the north with over 800 miles of coastline.)
A Biblical Pattern
Following these visions and a study on this topic, I learned that in the Old Testament calamities were often recognized as warnings or direct consequences of idolatry, injustice or breaking the covenant. And it is in these hallowed pages that we find a pattern of mercy and protection when the chosen people returned to GOD in obedience:
The Passover Lamb: To avoid the last plague in Egypt, the Israelites painted the blood of a spotless Lamb on their doorposts. For Believers this now means that the Lord Jesus Christ is our Passover Lamb whose blood has been sprinkled on the doorposts of our hearts. If Believers are not securely positioned under the New Covenant, the following steps are redundant:
Repentance. To stop plagues national repentance and humbly turning back to God in prayer was obligatory. Jesus Christ is our Mediator to GOD who forgives us our sins when there is genuine repentance. There is strength in numbers, I can only imagine how powerful the united prayers of a repentant people would be during times of calamities.
Levitical Priests’ Roles: These were appointed to stand as “living buffers” or “human barriers” between GOD’S blazing holiness and the people’s sinfulness ways. They encamped around the Tabernacle to prevent outbreaks of wrath against the community. That role is now reflected in faithful Believers and intercessors who have made Christ their “living buffer” or “human barrier”. And the tabernacle is the fertile soil of communal human hearts where the living Word of GOD resides.
Incense and Sacrifice: Plagues were often incurred on the people because of their disobedience (Example: Korah’s rebellion). Consequently, Aaron utilized burning incense to make atonement to stop the plague. Again, this is a role now assigned to all faithful Believers (in covenant with the sacrificial Lamb) whose fragrant prayers reach the throne room of GOD in heaven.
Obedience to Covenant Laws: Obedience to statues and commandments as outlined in the Torah was also a protective barrier as exemplified for instance when GOD protected the chosen people from Egypt’s calamities. Faithful Believers are now under the New Covenant and while some might think it is religious or considered legalistic, we are still called to obey GOD’S Word (commandments) and remain in covenantal relationship with HIM through HIS Son Jesus Christ.
Acts of Mercy and Solidarity: In addition to prayers and obedience, helping people, showing compassion and supporting victims was also important.
Summary
This entire region (and no doubt other regions) in Canada and the United States is compromised and will become worse in coming days, not only with flooding but with other calamities and acts of destruction… I urgently call on Prime Minister Carney, the MPs, the MPPs and religious leaders to turn to GOD in repentance. And, in turn, to call our people to GOD and to national prayer. As noted previously, even though prophecies will unfold as written the call to prayer and obedience is still critical during these last days. Reposting the following verse:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chr. 7:14)
