Reflections
It’s been a very busy year and sometimes a period of refreshing is needed by temporarily unplugging from social media; spending more prayerful time with the Lord and studying the Word. To enjoy the company of family and friends. To get re-acquainted with hobbies that have been put aside. And to enjoy the blessings of beautiful summer days that end much too soon in this part of the world.
The Scent of Christ
Colourful flowers are being shown in visions again. And with that, I am reminded that fragrant flowers, palm trees and angels adorned the walls of the Temple’s Holy of Holies. And because of Jesus’ finished works on the Cross, we have become the temples which house the most Holy of Holies. It’s a secret and hallowed place of prayer and worship. The hallowed place where angels visit. Most importantly, it’s the hallowed place where we sense, hear and recognize the Voice, Presence and sweet Fragrance of the Lord God. It’s a place called Home. And it contrasts sharply with the fast-paced tempo and clamouring disturbances of the outside world. I am hearing Words of Confirmation.
