The Vision
I saw and heard some credible things today that confirmed and reminded me of a vision from a few months ago in which the American flag was shown. A hole had been freshly cut out of its fabric. As I looked closer I saw that in was in the shape of a leaf. A Maple Leaf!
The Interpretation – Canada and America
A flag with a hole does not fly as it was intended; it furthermore creates more tears in the fabric causing it to rip over time. Leaves are symbolic of the healing of the nations. In this case because of its shape, it represents Canada’s healing influence which is being cut out of the American fabric.
The President and most of his conservative administration has been threatening Canada as not being a viable nation that should be taken over or “annexed” by the U.S. Then began the initiation of tariffs that is causing economic hardships on American and Canadian businesses and relations. The timing of all this could not have been worse for the Conservative Party here at home. It contributed to the fall out of the conservative vote that was gaining favourable momentum with the people up until that point. The liberal party won out and PM Carney is now liaising with other global nations. Very briefly noted this is the hole, the rift, in the American flag.
America?
The reality is that America has very substantial loans with China and treasury securities worth over $749 billion dollars as of April 2024. Is America still considered a viable nation? Were China to cash in these loans, would that make America a nation open for take over or “annexation”? And that is not counting loans the U.S. has with other countries. I am reminded of the Lord Jesus’ golden rule that applies to everyone without exception and that is “Do not do unto others what you would not want done unto you.”
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. (Mat 7:12 Cf. Lk. 6:31)
Summary
President Trump has done some great things for America and he cannot be faulted for that. But in his quest to ‘Make America Great Again’ he is alienating Canada, an ally for as long as I can remember. By August 1st, he has set another official date to increase tariffs by another 35 percent and warns of higher levies. He fails to realize, to recognize, short and long term repercussions and that Canada will do what it can to protect its domestic industry and nation.
I am posting this message to call on the body of Christ to pray during these very decisive and divisive days. To pray that the President and his administration would sit at negotiation tables and handle this matter diplomatically and righteously for the ‘greater good’ in accordance with GOD’S Will. And to also pray for the Prime Minister including provincial and influential leaders in this nation to do what is good and right in the Lord’s sight. And to remember that it is GOD who sets up kings but the harsh reality is that He also takes them down. (Dan. 2:21 Cf. Ps. 2)
With GOD all things can be resolved between nations. At least until a time when latter day prophecies unfold exactly as it is written.
