The Vision
In my field of vision yesterday, a large black and white chessboard was shown. A hand appeared from above and moved, from the centre, a white piece one square forward and knocked over the black piece that stood in that position.
Interpretation
The vision was immediately understood. The chessboard represents a battle ground – a spiritual war zone. The white pieces on this chessboard represent righteous and redeemed Believers who have been made white by the blood of the Lamb. (Is.1:18) The dark pieces represent the wicked and unrepentant who are influenced and moved by fallen unseen powers. (Eph. 6:12) Not only are they fated to stumble; they will ultimately meet a horrific and eternal end. (Prov.4:19; 2 Pet. 3:7; Mat. 13:42; Mal. 4:1) Take heart!… the end time game/battle between righteousness and wickedness is one that belongs to the Lord! And it’s His powerful Hand, from above, that strategically moves and guides His people to victory.
It’s Not Over….Yet
We know that during these last days, Satan will intensify his attacks on the inhabitants of the earth because there is little time remaining before the Lord returns. And then there will be a show down on this planet such as never was. Until then, we are being encouraged and shown to keep standing in the positions and roles of occupancy the Lord has entrusted to us. To trust Him completely and to keep abiding in His awesome Spirit and infallible Word every single day. (The small hand of a child held by a strong male Hand is shown….it’s the Lord’s Hand!) What a beautiful, meaningful and tender moment.) Ah….and know this. Nothing and no one will ever be able to pluck these little ones out of His mighty Hand! (Is. 41:13, Jn.10:28-29; Mat.18:3-5)
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (And the Lord certainly did with this open vision as well!) (Col. 2:13-15)
Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s…..You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf.(2 Chr. 20:15-17)
Satan (with his minions or legions) foolishly and pridefully forgot that he was already defeated at the Cross. And that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will always have…. the Upper Hand!
