In a vision a few days ago I saw a beautiful bright light. It was swirling and enfolding as though it were alive. This Light had Life! Next I see this Light moving inside of a small space of deep and intense darkness somewhere. The vision ended with the following words: “Dallas, Texas”. I am now hearing the words: “It is coming”. “It Will Happen.” (A double confirmation!)
INTERPRETATION:
Whenever I see Light, it is directly linked to truth, to the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Word and to GOD’s Plan of redemption. A Light will grow in a small place in Dallas, Texas! It will indwell and illuminate the darkness it occupies! I am hearing “Holy Ghost”! Praise the Lord! There will be anointing in that small place! Thank you Jesus!
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (Jn.8:12)
“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter (*the Holy Ghost*) that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” (Jn.14:16-20)
“To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.” (Acts 26:18)
“And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.” (Mat. 14:28-31)
A Dream
Suddenly, during a deep sleep, I found myself standing somewhere and beside something made of wood which was recognized to be part of a boat. It was dark and stormy outside and I was surrounded by water which was churning with the waves. My attention was brought to my feet and that is when I surprisingly saw that my feet were bare and standing on water! I lingered there for what must have been a few minutes with water swishing and splashing barely up to my ankles. (This dream felt so, so real.) As I proceeded to walk; something very hard was felt underneath my feet – it was solid rock. What a relief to know that I was walking on a massive bedrock that was just a couple of inches beneath the surface of the water. End of Dream
Interpretation
This dream from more than twenty years ago occurred during a difficult period of time in my life. And though this is a big world and we are all interspersed at its four corners, the Holy Spirit is reminding me that this dream does not belong only for my encouragement and benefit but also for anyone else who is experiencing difficulties of any kind.
Whatever your situation or condition, you are called to exercise faith and go beyond the troubling waters of affliction by securing your feet – your faith, your walk and direction in life – on that solid Rock which is Christ Jesus. (Mat. 16:18; 1 Cor. 10:4) Whatever you are feeling: depression, loneliness, fear and worry, (I am also hearing anxiety), you are called to stand and walk on the Rock! If you are experiencing a breakdown in your marriage and family, walk on the Rock! If are having difficulty finding work or work is causing you grief and stress, walk on the Rock! If you are sick and with pain and feeling hopelessly defeated, walk on the Rock! If you are bound to drugs and alcohol, to walk on the Rock! Whatever your condition and situation, you are called to walk on the Rock! Cast your cares on Him, He’s got this! (Mat. 11:28-30)
When Jesus called Peter to walk on water, He was also attempting to test him, to equip him and temper him with courage and faith to confront the hardships that he would endure as a faithful Apostle. But this dream also conveys that whenever we confront the storms of life, Jesus Christ the Rock is already supporting us. But we must have faith and belief! If you feel you have sunken in deep waters and feel unable to get out, do not doubt, extend your hand and He will pull you out!
Go beyond the pain, go beyond the impossible with faith and belief! How extremely blessed we are to have One who made everything possible for us! (Mat. 19:26) Thank you GOD our FATHER, thank you Lord God Jesus Christ.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains….(Mat. 24:16-20)
In this dream – from @ the year 2000 – I was standing in a rocky room or stone chamber higher up somewhere. There was a knowing that there were many other chambers like this. Rooms or chambers that had been carved in what appeared to be a rock of a pinkish beige color. I looked out in the distance and saw a long winding dusty road. On this road an army of soldiers dressed in Roman regalia were walking in unison, shoulder to shoulder and in rows. They appeared to be heading in our direction. End of dream.
INTERPRETATION:
The soldiers represented the army of the Roman Empire. It was an empire historically known for its persecution of Christians. In 64 AD, a colossal fire broke out in Rome and destroyed much of the city. There were rumours that it was the deranged Emperor Nero Himself who caused the fire. Some historians believe that in an attempt to deflect blame, he horrifically tortured and killed the scapegoats: the Christians. During the third century, the turn-over of emperors was rapid and countless more met with horrific deaths. The crimson stains of Christian blood stained the sands of gladiator arenas much to the delight of roman emperors and their spectators. Apart from them, Christians were also targeted in the crosshairs of religious authorities. And apart from them, Christians were furthermore targeted in the crosshairs of Pagans because of their refusal to bow down to Rome’s paganistic pantheon Gods. History bears facts that Christians were targeted on many levels. Could it be that Christians will once again be in the Crosshairs of another empire and unbelieving people who have an inherent hatred for Believers? The Bible tells us yes.
” You will be hated by everyone because of me (Jesus), but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Mat. 10:22)
Following the dream, I scanned the internet and discovered pictures that remarkably resembled what I had seen in the dream. The place was an ancient city called Petra. It is believed by some that Petra will be a place of refuge for a remnant in Israel when the Antichrist will order the worldwide genocide of Jews, lasting for the last 3½ years of the tribulation period. I searched for the name meaning of Petra and discovered that it is a feminine appellative of the name Peter whose name in Greek means “stone” or “rock”. The meaning of the dream was understood.
In brief, the dream conveyed that another empire would arise and that Christians would seek refuge from persecution. That would explain the reason for the army marching in our direction. But for the faithful there is a place of refuge known as the great biblical Rock of all ages: Jesus Christ. (1 Cor.10:4) And because He is the Head of the true Church (Col. 1:18); it follows that there has to be a body (Eph. 1:23) A body that is biblically defined to, indeed, be feminine in nature: Petra is the Bride of Christ, the chaste Virgin, the persecuted and protected Woman in the wilderness for 3 1/2 years, (Rev.12:14) the spotless Church Body. I am hearing “beautiful”.
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone (Jesus Christ) elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.” (1 Pet. 2:5-9)
“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” (2 Cor. 11:1)
I am not posting this message with the intent of causing rebellion against governmental authorities (Rom. 13:1, 1 Pet. 2:13). But Jesus clearly taught that we ought to render the things that belong to Caesar to Caesar and the things that belong to God to God. As Christians we are not to bow down to laws that are in direct contradiction and violation of GOD’s truth and His perfect law which HE codified in Love through His Son Jesus Christ. This message, instead, is posted to encourage Believers – and unbelievers – to earnestly turn to and abide in the Rock of salvation while time still gracefully affords us the opportunity. The sacrosanct call to repentance is not a popular call; and is even denied by some in the fivefold ministry; at times vehemently! But the reality is that the call for repentence and to live the progressively sanctified life is as critical today as it was two thousand years ago. But you need not take my word for it, take the Word for it. I believe Elijah, John the Baptist, the Apostles and most of all, Jesus, would all agree.
A critical hour of preparation is upon us. And to be effectively hidden in Christ the Rock in coming days calls us all to be faithful believers and to be that chaste Bride.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1Jn.1 1-10)
“From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Mat. 4:17)
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”. (Eph. 6:12)
I heard my name being called out – it was loud! The Voice was standing on my right side and beside my head. Suddenly I felt an awesome feeling of exhilaration which I can only compare to myriads of refreshing invisible raindrops of Light touching every atom in my body. It lingered for a while and dissipated leaving me with a beautiful feeling of peace and renewed vigor. Afterwards, I knew that this was the “refreshing” Apostle Peter had long ago declared in the Book of Acts.
INTERPRETATION:
Apostle Peter declared in the Book of Acts that this refreshing accompanies repentance:
“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things which God had spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” (Acts 3:19-21)
The Greek word for “refreshing” means any kind of refreshment such as rest or deliverance from evils of any kind. Repentance means to turn away from sin. It cleanses the heart; it illuminates the senses and it preps the human soul to receive the Lord. And yet there is so much more involved with repentance which is at the core of this message today.
The war in heaven is getting closer pending the fulfillment of end-time prophecies. Michael and His angels are cleansing the heavenly realms and are pushing the Prince of the air and His legions further down the heavenly hierarchies. And it is here, in the 3rd dimension, that the final battle for the New Kingdom will manifest in full force:
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Mat.11:12)
From the time of John the Baptist, the enemy has attempted to muddy the waters of salvation and repentance by causing confusion, discouragement, rebellion, misunderstanding and malaises in people, Believers included. Much of it being attributed to corrupted rulers in high places. It is a modus operandi Satan has continuously used and is still using to reclaim his fallen kingdom. Many are currently reporting feelings of depression, of hopelessness, heaviness and dread. I was shown in visions that this is caused, in greater part, to this battle in the heavenlies. A battle so fierce and so increasingly near that its effects are trickling on down to earth and manifesting itself in the people below, including rulers in high places. (Rev. 12:12) A battle so fierce that only through repentance and continued faith can a Believer withstand its effects and feel the refreshing! A battle so fierce that only the Lord and His Angels of the Light can overcome. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (Jn. 16:33) “Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.’” (2 Chr. 20:15)
Powers, principalities and rulers in high places are attempting to discourage you, to interrupt your repentance so that they can gain your soul for a fallen kingdom! And there are too many visions, too lengthy, to write about in support of this. They know that a new kingdom is being implemented and they are doing their utmost to stop this from happening. Do you see the ploy?! Do you see the modus operandi?!
The inhabitants of the earth are in the dark Crosshairs of this battle right now. I was literally shown this! But those who remain faithful and abide in the Lord and His plan of salvation will feel the refreshment which the Bible teaches comes from the presence of the Lord. And this is the Voice of the Refreshing – of the Presence – that spoke to me this morning. I am encouraging you to shield yourselves with repentance, with the Word of God and with prayers. Continue to abide in GOD’s plan of salvation and in the fruits of righteousness. There is a great battle taking place. And I am often, often, reminded that to protract a great design is to put it in jeopardy. It bears repeating not to put off until tomorrow what needs to be done today!
“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (Rev.12:7-12)
In a vision a few days ago I was shown my kitchen table. It was covered with a table cloth or linen that had been lifted. Every inch was covered with healthy and fresh food of all types. The Words “In Abundance” were spoken.
INTERPRETATION:
That morning while sitting at my table, the following verses were instantly brought to remembrance:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. “ (Ps. 23:4-6)
While pondering these verses this morning, I suddenly and pleasantly noticed that my table was, in real life, surrounded with at least 5 NKJV and KJV Bibles, including commentaries and study guides. It brought a smile to my face because the most precious Holy Spirit always works in such wondrous ways!
The provisions on the table symbolized biblical truths and tenets. And the Holy Spirit had shown me that it was the Lord who had set the table. The table was symbolic of the human heart whereas the abundant provisions symbolized His Word. In keeping with the above verses, it follows that when we ingest the Word – study and apply it – we are strengthened, emboldened and made more knowledgeable in discerning the ruses and attacks of the enemy. Most importantly, we recognize that we have a Shepherd whose rod and staff comfortingly guide His Lambs in the right direction during times of darkness and who will protect them from the enemy. And these are certainly times of darkness pending the return of the Lord to stake His claim on this fallen planet. To be a Lamb in the flock means that darkness has no jurisdiction and authority in your life. The enemy has no jurisdiction and authority over the faithful Believer who abides in the finished works of Christ. And over the faithful Believer who partakes of His abundantly amazing, life giving Word. Most importantly, no authority and no power over the Son! (Spoken Word) But, we must believe! And we must have faith!
Be encouraged today! Take out your holy bibles and ingest the nourishing truths and revelations which only the Lord can activate in you through the works of the Holy Spirit. Believe that He will set the table!
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly (an open spectable) triumphing over them in it.” (Col. 2:14)
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” (Rev. 19:11-13)
“And Jesus said, ‘I tell you, unless you repent you will all likewise perish.’” ( Lk. 13)
In a vision this morning, I was shown a white bathtub containing dirty water. Accompanying spoken Words of Knowledge: “LUKE 13”. While waiting to hear more, the Words “THE CHURCH” were spoken.
INTERPRETATION:
This message is for the Church. A message bearing a critical warning. A message that conveys judgement but at the same time calls to right what is wrong on so many levels. It is as much personal as it is corporate and has political and religious application on a worldwide scale.
The bathtub is a place of cleansing. That the water was dirty symbolizes the importance of being cleansed from sin. It also conveys that it is time to pull out the plug, to let the dirty waters flow down the drain and let the bathtub be replenished with the clean unadulterated waters of the Word and the Holy Spirit! It is a time to be cleansed from the dirt of the world and it is a time to be rejuvenated and renewed in the healing waters!
From reading Luke chapter 13, it is understood that the waters of true repentance have been muddied for too long with the mixture and filth of the counterfeit. It has been muddied by apostate, hypocritical, religious authorities whose false doctrines promote legalism. And whose earthly doctrines, laws, false prophecies and teachings are unable to cleanse – to heal – a Believer unto true repentance. Jesus also spoke about the influence of corrupted political authorities upon the church. This is clearly seen when Pilate was singled out for having mingled the blood of the Galatians with the holy sacrifice. Pilate, it seems, had appropriated the treasuries of the temple for his own filthy lucre and profit. History repeatedly bears proof of the negative impact that corrupted religious and political authorities can impose upon a people. And history is fated to repeat itself until the Lord subjugates all powers unto Himself and returns a new Kingdom to His Father. (Dan. 12:7; 1 Cor. 15:24)
In Luke 13, Jesus speaks of the narrow way that leads to eternal life and that few would find it. In a dream a few months ago I was shown people waiting outside somewhere and standing at a gate. But only one who had repented according to the finished plan of salvation was allowed through the narrow gate. Those others on the outside recognized Jesus as Lord but they were still workers of iniquity. To them Jesus will outrightly declare:
“….I tell you I do not know you where you are from. Depart from me all you workers of iniquity. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth”. (Lk. 13:27-28)
In Luke Chapter 13, we importantly learn that all have sinned regardless of rank, authority and deceiving external appearances! And twice Jesus declared: “Repent or Perish”. The clarion call to repent is sounding louder because the Lord is separating His people from a corrupted society. And the people worldwide, including religious and political authorities have been given so much time and opportunity already to choose which side to stand on. GOD has been unimaginably and mercifully patient. Yet nothing corrupted; nothing with mixture, nothing with leaven, nothing with sin, can enter the New Kingdom!
It can be a difficult time for the repented Believer right now – even if you are standing on the right side – because Satan knows his time is drawing short and he is intensifying his attacks on the remnant who keep the word of the Lord. But those whose hearts have been renewed through repentance recognize the apostasy of our time. And although GOD has been patient, Luke 13 clearly teaches that there will an appointed time when multitudes will be cut off. To the faithful, I encourage you to continue to abide in the Blood of the Lamb, in the fruits of the Holy Spirit and be those awesome and blessed holy trees of righteousness! To those still on the outside: God is loving and merciful; there is still time for you but the hour is getting late.
“Come out from amongst them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean. And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Cor 6:17)
“And I heard another voice from heaven saying ‘Come out of her my people lest you share in her sins and lest you receive of her plagues’.” (Rev. 18:4)
“Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision. And make it plain on tablets. That he may run who reads it.” (Hab. 2:2)
VISION:
In a vision during prayer this morning, a church bench made of wood was shown. It was as though I was standing in the aisle, looking on my right side and down the length of this bench. The front bench ahead of this one, however, was not levelled to the ground. It stood higher up in the air. I had the impression – a knowing – that there were more benches in front of the previous ones that were positioned increasingly higher. Suddenly, a man wearing hiking boots comes running from the right side escalating the back of the bench and stepping on to the higher bench in front of it. On and on he would hike and escalate these benches. Immediately following the vision, the following Words were spoken: “WRITE IT DOWN.”
INTERPRETATION:
The Spoken Words “WRITE IT DOWN” means to let the vision be known so that he who reads it can benefit from it.
It is clear that this message is a call for the church to rise to higher heights of faith in the Lord and in His finished works. Many are unable to escalate and experience breakthroughs in the Church today because there is a lack of faith, unconfessed and/or unrecognized sin in their lives. This is a time to fully recognize that Jesus Christ can forgive and redeem all sins for those who will confessedly come to Him seeking pardon. This is a time to recognize that there exists a Holy Comforter and Counsellor who can help during times of doubts and duress. This is a time to recognize that the written Word provides the blueprint to living life in heightened states of faith. And this is a time to clear and cleanse the mind and the heart!
Some in the Church today still have one foot in the world and are unable to climb higher. Some are trying to live their lives according to their own wills instead of aligning themselves with GOD’s Will. Others are attempting to manipulate the Word to suit their purposes instead of allowing the Word to show them their purposes. Some others are led astray by false doctrines. Still some others are so saddled with the cares of the world, given to discouragement and so riddled with fear that it has paralyzed them. Some say they have faith and believe but do they really? Most are trying to escalate through the wide road of the world and of wavering belief instead of the narrow way which the Lord has made passable.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. “(Mat. 7:13-14)
We are living in awesome times of repentance as we await the return of the Lord to stake His claim in full in Believers’ hearts and minds. It is pouring rain but many are unable to hear it, nor see it, nor receive it because their minds and hearts are cluttered with too much debris. It has deafened and blinded the wayward and sometimes even the unsuspecting Believer. There is an awesome Light of truth and of Love beckoning the faltering Believer to climb to higher heights of faith and belief in the finished works of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can do this thing! You have been equipped with the proper footware! Some are already coming! I am feeling a sense of excitement about this vision!!
This is a time to take stock of ourselves! This is a time to get real! It is high time for the church to come out of entrapments and make that hike onward and upward towards the Lord’s Light and receive the blessings!
A “prophetic” word this one! (Spoken Word of Knowledge)
“The path of life leads upward for the wise. That he may keep away from Sheol.” (Prov. 15:24)
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. “ (Is. 60:1)
“For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son so that whosoever believe in Him will not perish but have life eternal.” (Jn. 3:16)
Prefacing the Message
The most sacrosanct historical event and doctrine of truth honored by faithful Christians worldwide is the sacrificial death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Of all the visions shown, the Crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ is the one that I hold the dearest to my heart. It brings memories of GOD’S extreme and unfathomable Love for fallen humanity and of a concealed and unique plan that had been orchestrated and spearheaded by the Lord Himself ages before. A divine plan that originated in the garden many generations earlier began wending its way in the lineages of Adam, on through the Hebraic Age and to His ultimate advent amongst a chosen people over two thousand years ago. When Jesus advocated forgiving offenders 70 x 7 times, He was referring – on a higher note – to this long-time concealed yet prophetic plan of redemption that had been woven in the fabric of time and which culminated with His selfless Sacrifice. Jesus paid a high price to succor us from entrapment under Satan’s authority and influences. And although it was my preference to keep this vision private, it was recently recognized that it was shown as a testimony for the world.
The Vision
I am suddenly being shown an aerial view of the Crucifixion scene; it was different from anything else I had seen in pictures and movies. It was dark and I was aware that people had lit small fires here and there on a flat ground in the distance. And it was by the glow, by the light, of these amber-flickering fires that I saw Jesus. The bottom of the Cross on which He hung stood maybe only about 1 to 2 feet up from above the ground. The top part of the Cross was not as long as is depicted in illustrations or images- only perhaps one to 2 feet above Jesus’ head. I could see by the placement of His shoulders that our dear Lord had His arms over and around the horizontal bars, not straight out. His head hung down towards his chest and veered to the left a little. His long hair dangled and fully covered His face. Jesus, at this point, had lost consciousness I was immensely, profoundly, struck by His humanity. This mighty and holy Son of GOD – a Majesty in heaven – hung on that deadly Cross as a man. A man who felt all the pain associated with a human body. And yet so, so, much more because He also bore humanity’s mental, physical and spiritual burdens. No written words can make this scene justice… Behind Jesus and not too far in the distance was a huge wall of rock, it could have been an escarpment, I am not sure. I could not see the whole of it because I was too close to Jesus to peripherally see any further. The vision lingered a little and then faded. Amen.
Interpretation
Golgotha means skull. On that fateful and prophetic day, Jesus’ Cross crushed the summit of Mount Golgotha. It crushed Satan’s skull; dethroning him from all authority. The life of the blood that flowed from Jesus’ veins and trickled down Mount Golgotha – also symbolic of the lost one’s kingdom – had the power to release lost souls who had been held captive under Satan’s authority. The head of the serpent had been crushed and the supreme Head of the Church and of the New Kingdom took His place of authority. Praise GOD! Praise the Lord!
Some time later, the following Words of Knowledge were spoken: “Two Drops On the Cross.” This symbolized that with the blood, water also flowed from our Lord’s side. Because of His blood sacrifice, Jesus released the waters of the precious Holy Spirit. I am hearing “gift”. And what a gift it is! A gift that deserves the utmost honor and respect in our lives.
“Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)
Because of Jesus’ Sacrifice, repentant sinners receive forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Because of His Sacrifice, repentant sinners become justified, sanctified (instantaneously but also progressively) and will ultimately be glorified. There is no one else on earth, below earth or above the earth, empowered to forgive and give Life – and life eternal – to the Lost. Jesus’ sacrifice was the final blow that defeated Satan, it was the final nail in death’s coffin!
I pray that this testimony blesses you as much as it has humbled and blessed me for many years. And even more now, many years later. Thank you GOD. Thank you Lord God Jesus. Sometimes, there are no human words to describe the gratitude of a saved soul.
“Oh Death where is your sting? O Hades where is your victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Cor. 15:55-58)
A couple of weeks ago during prayer, I suddenly had a strong feeling of an interior stretching. Something had taken place – in the spirit – that felt like an elongation. An enlargment. And yesterday while reading the Word, the significance of what had taken place was too important not to share as a testimony. It supports biblical tenets and it confirms the operations of the Holy Spirit during these latter days.
INTERPRETATION:
This interior stretching speaks of a transitional growth process that leads us to more mature stages of spiritual development in Christ. In other words, we as faithful Believers are growing into His stature. Those who have allowed this sanctification process to take place know that it is not always easy. And those who do the work of the Lord might feel this more on different levels because “much is expected from whom much is given.”
I am reminded of a vision from years ago in which angels were shown measuring me. From shoulder to shoulder. From the top of my head down the length of my back. The vision ended knowing that I had been fully measured. This was interpreted to mean that growing into the stature of Christ requires that we will meet conditions in life that will cause us to stretch and grow beyond our fleshly comfort zone. But those who abide in the Lord and persevere with faith; despite the complaints of the flesh, will be greatly blessed as declared by Luke in the following verse:
“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Lk. 6:37)
Nothing goes by unnoticed by Jesus Christ, who is the head of the Church and the New Kingdom. Consider also the following verse:
“Then I (John) was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.” (Rev. 11:1)
When reading and contemplating this verse, I heard in the Spirit “en dernier” which means “in the end”. This means that we will, in the end and at the time of fulfillent, have to give account for everything done during our earthly lives. Every situation and every condition we successfully overcome in this lifetime is bearing fruit for the Kingdom of GOD in heaven. It is already manifesting in the spiritual Kingdom! If Believers could only see with their eyes the fruit of their labors, they would greatly rejoice even amidst earthly trials. And for those things in which we have sinned and fallen short, there is forgiveness in the blood of the Lamb for the contrite and repentant heart. We are being prepared to worship in the highest heavenly courts! We are being prepared for a final measurement! We are being measured to be custom-vested in a garment of the whitest fabric of righteousness that is befitting of the Bride of Christ. The glorified body! Praise the Lord and thank you Jesus!
In summation of this post, I leave you with the following Word “PERSEVERE”. It was a Word that was spoken to me many, many times. And it is still a word of encouragement that keeps this Believer pressing on in the Faith regardless of setbacks, conditions and situations. And sometimes when we feel that we have stretched as far as we can, more stretching might be needed. We are being stretched! But rest assured it is all for very good reason!
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, ill we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Eph.4:11-16)
“But we all, with uncovered face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.“
“JESUS SAID TO HIS APOSTLES TAKE THESE STONES AND PLACE THEM UPON THE TABLES OF YOUR HEART”. (Spoken Words of Knowledge @2003)
It was recognized that the stones were ancient tablets upon which was inscribed the Mosaic Law; most specifically referring to the 10 commandments. Here the Holy Spirit was teaching that – ages later – Jesus had declared to His Apostles that observance of the law was meant to be recognized on the inner tables of human hearts. Not through the outward observance of religious laws. In this is also seen Jeremiah’s prophecy foretelling the implementation of a New Covenant ages before Jesus’ advent on earth:
“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah – not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” (Jer. 31:31-34)
The inscription of the law on the fabric of human minds and hearts is made possible through the ministering of the Holy Spirit accorded to Believers through the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as the temple veil was torn in two from top to bottom signifying a way between heaven and earth had been opened for us, so it is that the Lord Jesus Christ has also opened a new consciousness. A new way by which Believers can now accommodate GOD’s laws:
“For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (Heb. 9:13-15)
Following Jesus’ Crucifixion, the Adamic debt was paid in full. Subsequently, GOD not wanting to leave us comfortless, now sends the Teacher – the Holy Spirit – to inspire and to guide Believers to fulfill HIS laws in a new and better way. In a way that is only made possible through faith and belief in GOD’s plan of redemption and a sound spiritual understanding (in the mind) of HIS Word (in the fertile grounds of the heart). In a way that is still not well understood by many – including Christians and Jews. In a way that will tragically prove to be a prophetic latter-day stumbling block until the time of fulfillment for the Jewish nation – any nation – who refuses to honor GOD and accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah. For those having scriptural discernment, consider that the ark of the covenant which stored the tablets of the 10 commandments (Ex. 25:16) is now the human mind and heart which has been sprinkled by the redeeming blood of the Lamb.
“Do you not know that you are the temple and that the Spirit of GOD lives inside of you.” (Apostle Paul)
“Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others, epistles of commendation to you or letters of commendation from you? You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.” (2 Cor. 3:3)
Vision: A reverberating heart that is increasing in size has been shown. This signifies that Jesus codified the entire law of the prophets on the two greatest commandment: To love GOD with all our minds, hearts and souls, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. (Mat. 22-37-38; Jn.13:34) That the heart is increasing in size means that a greater understanding of this law is taking effect and will increasingly and uniquely manifest in faithful Believers:
“For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. “ (Heb. 8:7-13)
