Vision
An encouraging and uplifting vision to share today. Early this morning a flurry of soft white feathers were shown flowing down from above. I have seen these feathers before scattered here and there; especially in the morning after I immediately wake up. (Note: They are not real third dimensional feathers. They symbolically represent and confirm God’s Word.)
What It Means
At first I thought these feathers were symbolic of angelic activity. Although this might be the case at times (because angels surround the Lord in the white clouds); they primarily pointed to the Lord Jesus Christ who hovers protectively over His redeemed body of Believers. Yes, we are talking about the secret place and shelter of the Most High as detailed in Psalm 91 linked here. Jesus appropriated this Psalm to Himself when He disclosed this revelation to an unbelieving Israel:
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Ps. 91:4)
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! (Mat. 23:37)
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Ps. 121:3-4)
Love these vision clips when the Lord makes His presence known. There is no safer place than to dwell in the secret place with Him. He watches over His people. Even at night when we sleep!
(Some years ago, white and bright gold feathers were also shown relating to Psalm 68:13 but that will be the subject of another message relating to transformation. Despite what is taking place in the world today, it is still exciting to be a Christian! If you are a non-Believer, have backslid or have become lukewarm, you are missing out on the greatest blessings available to you. You are highly encouraged to find salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ; you will be more than glad that you did! )
