From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” (Mat. 4:17)

In the past, I have dreamed of finding coins.  And in a vision last month, coins were shown on my dining room floor with the emphasis on a silver coin. At the time I thought it related to the fall of currency – of precious metals.  Since then this vision has remained on my mind; thinking about it as recently as yesterday.  

Today something unusual happened while sweeping the bathroom floor. I saw something silver shining from inside a narrow opening of an electrical baseboard.  Upon closer examination, it became obvious that it was a silver coin. How it found its way inside this narrow space boggles the mind.  I carefully managed to get the coin out. [Please follow precautionary guidelines if having to remove objects from electrical appliances.] I am not given to fantasy but this could not just be coincidental.  After carefully examing the coin, my understanding was opened.  

The following inscription on the Canadian coin bears a name which means: “God is gracious: Queen”.  This coin reflects the British Commonwealth of which the Queen is the head.  It includes Canada, among other countries.  Canada adopted its own constitution and became a completely independent country in 1982 but it still accepts the British monarchy as its own.   

INTERPRETATION:

By understanding earthly things (visible); we understand things that are heavenly (invisible).  Finding the coin today meaningfully captures the parable of the woman and the lost silver coin.  I was struck at how it accurately reflected the parable.  From switching the light on, to sweeping the floor, to finding the coin and finally rejoicefully sharing it with others as a testimony!

”Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?  And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’  Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. (Lk.15:8:10)

Seeing coins in dreams and visions symbolize heaven’s currency for blessings.  But finding ‘the lost silver coin’ is the most important coin of all! It represents sinners who have repented and accepted GOD’s plan of redemption through HIS Son. These are they who will have finally found the narrow way that leads to life through Jesus Christ! They are in the world but not of the world!  It follows that these faithful Believers will be fit to form part of a grafted commonwealth (Jews and Gentiles) of which Jesus Christ will be the Head. It is an invisible heavenly kingdom that will one day be fully implemented on earth by the King of Kings.

The Lord is preparing to establish a New Age on a new earth. He, along with His holy angels of the Light, are gathering the lost sheep, those who have lost their silver coin, the prodigals!  Repented sinners have great cause to rejoice!  And the angels are rejoicing right along with them in heaven! We are living in amazing days of preparation.  Don’t miss it!
