“Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church (Christ is the Rock: 1 Cor.10:4. Like Peter whose name means Cephas or Stone, we as Believers are also lively stones who are a holy habitation unto the Lord – the spiritual Church Body – 1 Pet.2:5; Heb. 8:2; 1 Cor. 3:16) and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven (a plurality of keys) and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Mat. 16:16-19)

Early this morning I was shown two key rings on the bedside table at my right side.  One ring held keys to my vehicle and additional silver and gold keys.  The second ring also held multiple silver and gold keys. On that table in real life, there is a crystal lamp, a glass of water that rests on a forest-green ceramic coaster that reads “Always and Forever”, including keys to my vehicle with a pod that has automatic start, unlock/lock and panic functions.

The vision was immediately understood.  The silver keys represent knowledge of the Word and Redemption. (Ps. 12:6)   The gold of the other keys is a color associated with the glory and represents the operations/revelations of the Holy Spirit that is given to Believers by the FATHER through the glorified Son. (2 Cor.3:18) Silver and gold keys were shown together on both rings to signify that the Word cannot be separated from the Holy Spirit. They are unified in an eternal circle that has no beginning nor end – a ring.

Briefly noted, the Lord is making available keys that opens the door to our ultimate destination and glorification. Destination:  The New Kingdom – Eternity!   Glorification: Being changed into the image of Christ from glory to glory. (2 Cor. 3:18). They correspond to both the internal invisible kingdom and the external visible kingdom. It espouses the truth that it is a process that commences on earth and will have completion in heaven and on the new earth when Christ establishes His reign in full measure.  That is to say, it is a process that is visible but is still progressive and will be perfected when the Lord stakes His claim on this planet.  If this were not true, we would be witnessing miracles on a magnitude never before experienced on earth. (Jn. 14:12) But we are witnessing miracles of conversions and healings everyday and is a marker of the increasing operations of the Holy Spirit and where we are situated on GOD’S timetable! “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven…”

On an external level, these keys also represent traveling – not by self-motivation and desire – but as guided by the Holy Spirit. The two rings symbolize the pairing and partnership of witnesses (Lk. 10:1); that is to say, spirit-filled Believers who are like-minded will meet for the purposes of preaching the gospel and preparing the way for the Lord.    Doors of assignments and opportunities will open for faith-filled Believers who follow the Lamb’s guidance. (1 Cor. 16:8-9)

The pod on my vehicle key ring which has an automatic start, lock/unlock and a panic button is also symbolically significant.  It means that the Lord is the One who will chart out the destinations and missions for Believers.  He is the master Key Holder who quickens with His Word and Holy Spirit whomever He will (start button),  who opens and shuts doors (lock/unlock buttons) and who alerts (panic button)!

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth.” (Rev. 3:7)

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is the giver of the water of life – the Holy Spirit! He is our holy Habitation! He is the living and written Word! He is the Light of the World! He is eternal – He has no beginning and no end. He has always been and will always be – He is “Always and Forever”! Thank GOD for having sent Him!

I am hearing again that this message has value!

Keep the Faith,
