The Bread of Truth

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. (Lk. 8:11)

In a vision this morning a golden loaf of bread, sprinkled with a multitude of life-giving seeds, was shown resting on a counter in front of a woman.  Next she opens a drawer, pulls out a long-bladed silver knife and proceeds to cut into it.  She cuts into the Bread in a way that no seeds are left to waste.

The woman represents Bible-believing Christians in the Body of Christ. From a biblical perspective, the seeded Bread represents the sprouting and life-giving Word of GOD.  The long-bladed knife represents, in this case, our GOD-given spiritual ability of being able to cut into the Word in order to discern it, to understand it, to partake of it and to grow. (Heb. 4:12) And for sure, just as Jesus multiplied Bread to feed a multitude so are we called to share the same with others for their benefit as well.  And, as Apostle Paul disclosed to Timothy, studying the Word is of paramount importance in achieving this great undertaking and mission.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15)

In these verses, the Greek word for “rightly dividing” is orthotomounta. Ortho means “right or proper” and tomounta means “to cut.” Literally, success in handling the Word is to cut it properly or correctly. As Believers in the Body of Christ, we present ourselves to GOD as unashamed workers when we properly handle and divide the life-giving Word of GOD during these latter days.  You are encouraged today to get acquainted or reacquainted with the Word remembering always that the Cross of Christ is central to understanding scriptures lest we fall into legalism, deception and false doctrine.

Related Scriptures

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16)

For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. (1 Cor. 2:2) Cf. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Cor. 18:25)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Rom. 1:16)

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Mat. 24:14)

The Church is called to partake of the the Bread of Truth during these latter days for it is the Word and Power of GOD.

It Has Begun

While thinking about Israel at war this evening, the barbaric atrocities that are taking place there and how that all fits into latter day prophecies, the following Words of Knowledge were spoken: “It Has Begun.” When I prayerfully asked what had begun, the following words were spoken: “The End”.

In Matthew Chapter 24, Jesus instructed that there would be wars, rumors of wars and earthly cataclysms in the last days. He then gave instructions to not be troubled over these events because they were only markers that would point to a time *before* “the end of the age.”

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. (Mat. 24:1-7)

Jesus goes on to say: “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.  Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Mat. 24:9-14)

We have begun a very prophetic time here on earth. The end of this age has begun! It will include the rapture, the second coming of Christ and judgement of the nations in order to prepare this earth for the glorious New Kingdom.

It is not my intention to engender fear but at the same time I would be greatly remiss if these Words of Knowledge were not shared for the purpose of helping prepare a people to turn to the Lord while time still permits. And for those who have been genuinely called in service, this is also a critical time for the unadulterated gospel to be preached like never before.

Let us remember the Dove’s message to be prepared for whatever comes, to remain at Peace and in the Love of GOD. So be encouraged today and know that the Lord is with us even unto the end. Look up for our redemption soon draws nigh and with it the dawning of an age of enlightenment under the kingship of Christ, our Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Son of the living GOD and our eternal High Priest in heaven.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Jesus in Mat 12:32)

The Dove of GOD

There is increasing conflict, rumors of war, war and a great deal of darkness in the world today. And with it so much distress and suffering for the people on different levels. But the Lord wants His people to not be disheartened nor to grow faint by what they see or experience as was confirmed in a simple vision this morning when a lovely, soft-eyed and super white dove was shown twice. When a vision is repeated, it is important!

The Dove in the Bible

Well, my goodness! The Dove most importantly is biblically affiliated with the Holy Spirit who descended on Jesus during His baptism. A Dove not only represents the presence of GOD, it also represents: the new birth, new beginnings and a new creation. Consider how Noah’s family and a small remnant of animals and creatures were saved out from a destructive epic flood (and here I am hearing ‘evil’ and ‘perverse‘) in order to live on a cleansed and renewed earth. Likewise, a Holy-Spirit filled and born again remnant living in an evil and perverse generation is also now being prepared to live in a new kingdom in a new heaven and on a new earth.

The Dove Brings Good News

The world out there will become increasingly dark before the Lord returns as was shown through the Holy Spirit years ago. But it will be followed by His amazing indescribable Light that will illuminate a new earth. You can be assured that just as the Dove brought Noah an olive branch in its beak after seven days to confirm that new land was in sight, so it is that the Dove flies again to bring encouraging news. That is to say, the Holy Spirit will comfort, guide and lead GOD’S people to their ultimate new destination in the New Kingdom! And though Satan is prophesied to vomit out a flood of darkness during these latter days, a new day will still dawn despite his efforts to sabotage GOD’S great masterplan. (Rev. 12:15-16) The Sun of Righteousness will burn bright for those who have eyes to see. And it will be the most amazing supernatural event to behold. It will be a new day! A day of Light!

Peace and Love

In closing, it is noteworthy that the Dove also represents Peace and I am hearing “Love”. No, it does not represent the kind of false peace and superficial love the world offers. It is GOD’S Peace and Love that surpasses all human understanding and casts out all fear, torment and evil.

The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by * prayer * and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6-7)

The Dove is encouraging the remnant to remain prepared, at peace and settled in the Love of GOD.

A Glorious Harvest

A Sheaf of Grain

A couple of days ago in a vision a bundle of golden wheat or barley which had been secured with twine was shown resting in a field. A beautiful white light shone on this bundle of golden-colored grain.

This morning another vision was shown which fits in meaning with the first one. Suddenly a small whirling cloud was shown. To the left of this cloud a Cross was visible. Suddenly out of the cloud emerged a butterfly that began flying heavenward. As I looked at this scene, the Word “Beautiful” was spoken.

Putting It All Together

Clearly the bundle of golden wheat or barley biblically symbolizes a harvest of souls who have been secured by the Lord for the latter-day harvest. It fits that His glorious Light already shines upon them and their works of righteousness during a time of great darkness on earth. (Is. 60:1-3) It also fits that after the harvest coinciding with a particular time on GOD’S timetable, they will be transformed into glorious bodies that will be caught up into the clouds and fly heavenward to be with the Lord forever. (1 Thess. 4:16-17) The Cross symbolizes trials they will have victoriously endured and confronted on earth but most importantly it represents Jesus’ transformative and redeeming Cross of Redemption without which there would be no harvest, no transformation, no resurrection!

Not Just A Spiritual Harvest

To be clear, we are already seated in high places with Christ. (Eph. 2:6) That is to say, we can already victoriously arise from the trials of this world and experience the benefits of a spiritual harvest which is the work of GOD when He plants the Seed of His Word into our hearts. But we haven’t yet resurrected from the physical body. For this reason and more, I strongly feel these visions point to the great latter-day harvest of souls on a global scale. A prophetic time when all the good grain will be gathered and stored for GOD’S purposes while the bad tares are cut down and burned. It’s harvest time and it’s a time that comes with judgement and with fire for the unbelieving and the unprepared. (Mat. 3:12) And now more than ever, it is critical for Believers to remain in the Light of Christ. And to let the Word and the Holy Spirit break the soil of our human hearts so that we can reap a faithful spiritual harvest and be gathered safely by the Lord to populate the New Kingdom in heaven and on earth!

There is only one way to be supernaturally harvested, one way to be transformed and there is only one way through which we can fly heavenward to be with the Lord forevermore. It is through His finished works on the Cross! It was and continues to be a work of Love Jesus did for His FATHER and for a fallen and lost humanity. Take care not to put off until tomorrow what can be done today. Praise GOD and thank you Jesus.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Phil. 3:20-21)

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thess. 4:16-17)

THE RISING DAY STAR

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun. (Eccl. 11:7)

Pleasant Is The Sun!

In the very early morning hours, a beautiful sunrise was shown in a vision. The bright rays of the sun could be seen shining just above the horizon as a new day was about to begin on this darkened planet.

Shedding Light on the Vision

The sunrise symbolizes the Lord’s supernatural intervention for a world sleeping in darkness. As an idiom the words ‘something is on the horizon,’ means that something is certainly going to happen or be done soon. And because this particular sunrise began to appear over the earth, this vision means that the Lord’s return is on the horizon.

Peter and the Day Star

In 2 Peter 1:14-21, Apostle Peter foreshadowing his own death, disclosed that he had witnessed Jesus’ majesty. He was referring to the Lord’s glorious transfiguration on the Mount when His face shone like the Sun and His raiment became white as Light. Peter furthermore compared Jesus to a Day Star (the Sun) that would come in power! Most importantly, he wrote an important clue describing that a day would come when the Day Star would arise in Believers’ hearts. In combination with other contextual scriptures, that day most prominently points to a specific time and event when we too will be transfigured like Him. (1 Jn. 3:2; 2 Cor. 3:18) It’s a phenomenal and supernatural event that is commonly known as the Rapture or the great ‘snatching away’. For those who not believe, I am hearing the Words: “Believe It!

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we make known unto you the Power and Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his Majesty...We have also a more sure Word of Prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the Day Star arise in your hearts. (2 Pet. 1:19)

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor. 15:51-52)

Keep Looking Up!

Yes, the world sleeps in the deep darkness of unbelief, immorality, lawlessness, ungodliness: apostasy! Let us not be like the foolish sleeping virgins who missed the call; instead let us remain wise and awake with our eyes looking heavenward and locked on the majestic Sun of Righteousness. (Mat. 25:1-13) Let us wait for that glorious Day Star whose transformative countenance is brighter than myriads of suns. Whose Light will destroy the darkness of this earth in preparation for the New Kingdom. Until that great day let the Light of the Spirit-filled Gospel written by holy men of GOD, continue to enliven and enlighten our hearts! Something awesome is surely on the horizon, something awesome this way comes in an unprecedented manner. And it is the Son of the living GOD: the Light of the world Jesus Christ!

Inhabitants of the earth, prepare yourselves for the greatest Light ever because just as sure as the sun rises from the East and sets in the West, so will the coming of the Son of man be. And at that time, His powerful supernatural cosmic Light will twinkle in the eye of the faithful Beholder when He returns at lightning speed! (1 Cor. 15:51-52, Mat. 24:27) I do not know the date nor the day that it will happen but it will happen. It’s on the horizon! There is no doubt about that!

For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Mat. 24:27)

An Asteroid and a Statue

This dream was experienced in the late 1990’s. It’s details are as vivid today as they were back then. And today I feel moved to share it with all of you because it confirms the Word of GOD during these latter days.

Standing On A Map

In the first part of this dream, a colorful herculean-size map unfolds in front of me. Immediately I find myself standing on the south western part of this map and in the South West of the United States.  Suddenly, I become acutely aware that something has fallen in the distance and on the eastern side. (Perhaps the eastern seaboard or the ocean.) Next, the Statue of Liberty broke and fell into the New York Harbor in the Atlantic Ocean. The sound of people moaning and groaning could be heard in the distance.  At this point in the dream, a voice declares:  “That was a large asteroid that fell.”

In the second part of this dream, I am immediately lifted way up into space and looking directly at the earth in front of me.  The earth was in deep, deep darkness. Suddenly, two white parallel bands are seen traveling horizontally side by side at the equator line from East to the West and continue to circulate horizontally around the earth.  Two more white parallel bands then appear at the top and in the middle of the earth.  One vertical band (at the right side) travels from the top North to the bottom South and continues to circulate vertically around the earth. But! The parallel band on the left side begins to unravel about ¼ of the way down and does not circulate vertically around the world. (See diagram below) Days apart and in a vision, I am back in space where I was shown a very large, oblong- shaped asteroid as it was traveling through space.

First Part of the Dream – Interpretation

Apostle John and Jesus both taught that stars will shake and fall from heaven during a time described as ‘the end of the world” which will culminate with His coming. (Mat. 24) These stars in the sky can be interpreted to mean what we now know as ‘asteroids” and ‘solar flares’ and are signs and markers of these latter days. (Lk. 21:25-36) Bearing that in mind, this particular asteroid stood prominent because it was described as large. Large enough to destroy upon impact the Statue of Liberty. And large enough to cause extreme destruction and suffering. The impact of a large asteroid can be so great that it could destroy an entire city – in this case the area around New York and its 30 + islands.  A powerful impact on land or sea can further cause unimaginable global damage.

And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.  Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. (Rev. 6:13-14)

Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures int he sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. (Rev. 8:8-9)

Second Part of the Dream – Interpretation

Moving on to the second part of the Dream and the traveling white bands. White, in my dreams and visions always symbolizes holiness, purity and righteousness.  Because of this, I believe that the traveling bands mean two things: 1) the preaching of the gospel during the latter days before ‘the end’ comes and 2) the implementation of the Lord’s Millennial Reign.  But!  For some reason one white band unraveled and twisted in the western hemisphere.  There are two reasons for this.  1)  The impact of the asteroid might enormously destroy this part of the earth and/or 2) The gospel of truth and righteousness will not be received because corruption or foreign invasion on compromised soil will unravel the work of GOD… but only for a season.  That is to say, it is only temporary until Satan is permanently put away and the Lord establishes in full the New Kingdom on earth and returns it to the FATHER. (Rev. 20:7)

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Mat. 24:14)

Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all. (1 Cor. 15:24-28)

The Statue

The name and origins of the Statue of Liberty, which personifies the concept of “Enlightening the World”, is derived from the Roman pagan goddess Libertas. It represents man’s enlightenment and freedom, not GOD’S Light and Freedom. From a biblical perspective, a statue also represents pagan, secular and religious idolatry and is in direct contradiction of GOD’S Commandments.(Ex. 20:4-5) Certainly, the western hemisphere has fallen to idolatry in many ways during these latter days! And this morning I am left thinking about the ancient city of Babylon, the epitome of idolatry and the latter-day Mystery Babylon Apostle John saw in visions. (Rev. 17) Is it a coincidence that there is a city called Babylon in that same area which borders the Atlantic ocean?

You can read more about the origins of the Statue of Liberty here.

You Are Invited

Time here on earth is moving on and with it latter-day prophesies will be fulfilled exactly as written by the Old Prophets, Apostles and Jesus.  If you haven’t been saved and been born again, you are called – invited – to turn to the Lord and receive your salvation including the greatest gift of life ever accorded to man.  If you are living in idolatry and are harboring sins and strongholds, you are already being held captive in Babylon. But there is a way to life and liberty through the Lord Jesus Christ’s finished works.  And that is GOD’S greatest gift of His Love for you, for all of us.

Praise GOD and thank you Lord Jesus Christ.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Cor. 3:17)

For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever will believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. (Jn. 3:16)

After Impact

See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.  For our God is a consuming fire. (Heb. 12:25-28)

The Earth Moved

Early this morning a prophetic dream was experienced. Suddenly, I heard a very loud booming sound. It caught everyone’s attention it was so loud. And then land began to move and shift. It was sliding into water; the sea most likely. In the dream, I felt that it was an island that had broken up and was shifting.

Proof In the Holy Bible

The following verses in the Book of Revelation were brought to my remembrance this morning. In support of the Book of Hebrews 12:25-28, Apostle John confirmed that the heavens and the earth would shake.

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (Rev. 6:13-14)

An Asteroid’s Impact?

This dream was not symbolic – it was cataclysmic and elemental in nature. Could a falling asteroid crashing down to earth be the cause of the island moving out of its place? It can very well describe the sequence of events after impact.

A Reminder For All

Again, I am reminded about the importance of being prepared and ready for whatever will take place during these latter days. And depending on the nature and location of the cataclysm, being prepared physically might not always be an option. But being made ready spiritually to live in the New Kingdom that is being prepared by the Lord is of the utmost importance. Everyday is an opportunity to turn to the living GOD through His Son Jesus Christ for salvation. If you are reading here, it is not happenstance. Nothing happens by chance with God. I greatly encourage you to give your life to the Lord in preparation for what has prophetically been declared to happen on the world scene. You will never regret having do so!

I am hearing a Word of Confirmation on this message.

Pulling Down Strongholds

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Cor. 10:4-7)

At the Bottom of the Sea

In a vision recently an old pile of trash, covered with barnacles, at the bottom of the seafloor was shown. It lingered a little and then faded out.

Biblical Interpretation

The scene was showing that strongholds – which is part of the sinful nature – is comparable to old trash that must be discarded! Strongholds can be anything that we hold on to and which avoids us from becoming Christ like. It can include unforegiveness due to bitterness, resentment and rejection; sins, negative thoughts and habits, emotional wounds of all kinds, false doctrines, fallen religiosity, and even persecution when it is not forgiven. But thanks be to GOD, the scene also displayed that sin and strongholds can be cast down through the Lord Jesus Christ when a Believer earnestly repents. It is all part and parcel of experiential and progressive sanctification; a process of perfection that incrementally changes Believers into the Lord’s image. (2 Cor. 3:18) When we earnestly and sincerely repent, God symbolically takes those strongholds and sins and casts them down into the deepest and darkest oceanic abyss, never to resurface again.

We cannot remove our sinful nature and strongholds by our own volition and power. It is the risen and indwelling Lord and merciful Lamb Himself who does this through His shed blood. The New Covenant Blood! Our role is to “look up” (Spoken Words of Knowledge) from where our help comes from; get ‘the self’ out of the Holy Spirit’s way and let Him do His awesome work of sanctification through repentance and the Word. Importantly, it is to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ not only deactivates sin and strongholds, He can remove them! It is He who puts underfoot powers and principalities in high places that can beset even the faithful here on earth! (Eph. 6:12; Col. 2:15-17) Jesus’ got this! He got this on a momentous Cross more than two thousand years ago.

Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:17-19)

If you are struggling with iniquities and strongholds that keep you in bondage; I am testifying to you that the Lord Jesus Christ has made a way of escape from sin and death for you in a big, big way! (Rom. 23:6) Take care not to put off until tomorrow what needs doing today. Eternity and an awesome glorified body of Light clothed in white awaits you! Rejoice in this truth! Praise GOD and thank you Lord God Jesus Christ!

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth. (Ps. 12:1-2)

Helmet of Salvation

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Rom. 8:6)

A Particular Helmet

Simple visions convey meaningful interpretations. So was the case yesterday when I was shown in a flash vision a woman wearing a biking helmet. The emphasis was clearly on the helmet.

Interpreting the Vision

Briefly and from a biblical perspective, the woman represents Believers in the body of Christ whose headship and covering is the Lord, Jesus Christ. (Eph.5:23) The helmet symbolizes the helmet of salvation which forms part of the Believer’s spiritual armor, as described by Apostle Paul. It is analogous to spiritual head gear for the mind which protects the Believer from receiving and expressing negative and sinful thoughts, including wrongful doctrines. Importantly, it also protects the mind against adversarial attacks.

Narrow is the Way

The Word teaches that we are responsible to “take the helmet”. That is to say, it is our responsibility to yield to the Holy Spirit who opens our understanding of the Word of GOD. (Lk.24:45) And that from this point on, all instructions that fortify us to walk, or in this case ride, on the narrow road that leads to life will be given and will be understood! (Mat. 7:13-14)

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel. (Eph. 6:13-19)

In these verses, the great Apostle Paul also requested prayers from Believers to help him fulfill his mission for evangelizing. How much more should we, in the Body of Christ, who are called in the Lord’s service request prayers from the faithful to help us accomplish our own missions.

Just a quick reminder today for Believers to secure your armors including your protective helmets daily!

What’s In Your Gift Bag?

Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.” (Eph. 4:8)

In a vision recently an open bag containing bright white adult running shoes, with colored stripes, were shown. Suddenly, a scene on a GPS screen which displayed multiple roads and points of interest appeared in mid air. But my attention was drawn to a major highway which was marked with a large Sunflower. The scene changed and a separate vision was shown in which more bags were placed in front of Believers.

Your Own Unique Gift

The greatest gift ever accorded to mankind is salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ’s finished works on the Cross. But our Lord’s love and generosity for His people doesn’t stop there! After having descended on this planet and ascending back on high, He gave and continues to give Believers their own unique spiritual gifts for their own transformative benefits and for the purpose of harmoniously blessing others in the Body of Christ. (1 Cor. 12:4-11) So with that in mind, back to the visions and what it means to the Church.

What About that Sunflower?!

Well, my goodness! A Sunflower is a type of angiosperm plant which means, that although it appears to have only one large flower head, it is actually composed of thousands of tiny florets at its center. The word angiosperm which is derived from the Greek translates angeion to mean “vessel” and sperma to mean “seed”. And each of the tiny florets inside the Sunflower has reproductive capabilities of producing their own seeds? Altogether, the bright golden Sunflower can produce anywhere between 1,000 to 2,000 seeds.

A Home Run

The Lord, through the Holy Spirit, is gifting His mature saints with proper footwear for the purpose of evangelizing the good news of salvation (adult running shoes). White represents the Lord’s righteousness, holiness and purity appropriated by the mature Christian who abides in Him. And the colored stripes represent the Holy Spirit’s diverse methods of operations. The Lord is He who guides the Believer to where He must go as symbolically discerned by the mapped GPS. (Ex. 13:21-22) And each one who is genuinely called has a specific road he must travel.

Altogether the Holy Spirit is conveying that when the Lord calls a Believer, He will ensure that he is properly equipped to walk this earth in fulfillment of his earthly mission until He returns Home to Him. The “vessel” or the Believers’ responsibility is to continuously abide in Christ, who is the Head of the Church, in order to be transformed into His image and to propagate His Seed which is His Word. (Lk. 8:11; Mk. 16:15) It is by analogy comparable to the seed-bearing florets who abide in the Sunflower’s large Head. (Eph. 1:22; Eph. 5:23; Col. 1:18; 2:10). In brief, the Lord is the glorious Sunflower Head and we are the abiding florets!

Scriptures clearly teach that when the Lord resurrected, He gave gifts to men. That is to say, to those who believe Him, abide in Him and are called in His service! Do not doubt for one moment that you are gift..less in this respect! Keep the Seed in your Heart which is the Word of GOD! Let the transformative power of the precious Holy Spirit stoke you each day! Receive your gift with praise and thanksgiving! And then go out and claim the territory you have been assigned!
