Cross Bearers – Vision

VISION:

Sometimes words of knowledge are conveyed audibly. At other times they can be spoken through visions, as was the case yesterday.  Words of Knowledge: “CROSS BEARER”  It was confirmed this morning that the vision and words of knowledge had two meaning, as detailed in the two following subheadings:

INTERPRETATION:

The Believer’s Cross

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:34-38)

‘Taking up the cross’ in these verses do not relate to self-mortification nor does it relate to crosses of burden. Instead, it is a call for the Believer to “take action” daily in making GOD and HIS plan of redemption through Jesus Christ the center of his life and world. By doing so, the Holy Spirit has room to express Himself and bring to one’s awareness and remembrance things that do not conform with GOD’s Will; things that interrupt the Believer’s walk with Christ. It might have something to do with: parting company with certain people; avoiding going to certain places; reading the word more often. It could even relate to someone who is ill but is going through this difficult time differently because he has faithfully made the Lord and his finished works the center of His existence. The list is ongoing and is certainly unique to each individual’s walk with Christ. To be a Cross Bearer in this sense allows the plan of redemption to manifest in one’s life, regardless of circumstances and conditions.  I am hearing in the Spirit:  “Tu as raison”. After looking up the correct translation in English, it means: “You are right”. Thank you Lord for the confirmation!

 Shouldering the Cross:

Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross.” (Mk. 15:21)

Following severe flagellation, Jesus was too exhausted and weak to bear His Cross. Consequently, Simon of Cyrene was ordered by Roman soldiers to help carry the Cross.  The name Simon in Hebrew means one who “hears” and “listens”. When Simon heard the orders to help bear Jesus’ Cross, he listened and did so. Altogether and by analogy, this applies to Believers who hear and listen, through inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the call to take action in helping neighbors in need.  In the process, they are faithfully fulfilling the two greatest commandments that is central to the New Covenant: “To love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” To be a Cross Bearer in this sense is to willingly shoulder people’s burdens which can manifest in multifarious ways; it’s a big world. In fulfillment of these righteous and loving acts we are helping the Lord directly and personally, as confirmed in following verses. This becomes even more profound in meaning when helping other Believers because they are spiritually indwelled by the Lord.

Related Verses:

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Gal.6:10)

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ Then they also will answer by saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’  He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Mat. 25:31-44)

Touched By The Branch

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” (Is. 11:1)

VISION:

Years ago, I was shown a brown tree with many brown branches.  Suddenly, a large white branch appeared from above and touched one of the branches.  As soon as that happened, the branch on the tree began to turn white.  End of Vision.

INTERPRETATION:

In order to identify the white Branch, it is important to understand it first from a genealogical perspective. Prophets Jeremiah and Zechariah prophesied about a particular Branch that would be born, as an offshoot through Jesse, in King David’s lineage. They further described the Branch as one who would be a servant, a king, a messiah and a man of righteousness. Importantly, Isaiah 4:2 further described this descendant or Branch as the Son of God.  The identity of the Branch foretold by these Old Testament Prophets would be revealed, hundreds of years later, as Jesus the Christ, throughout the New Testament.

Back to the vision and the white Branch. White is biblically synonymous with righteousness and holiness.  Consider that this prophetic genealogical Branch was also symbolically affiliated with righteousness by Prophet Jeremiah thousands of years ago:

Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith he shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.” (Jer. 33:14-16)

Within the context of this vision, the white Branch that descended from above, is the prophesied resurrected Branch of Righteousness, Jesus Christ. The only One empowered through the ultimate sacrifice, to whiten Israel’s branches, to remove iniquity and execute judgment and righteousness.  Subsequent to the ultimate Sacrifice, it is a divine design that no longer applies solely to the House of Israel. Because of Israel’s unbelief, it now includes the whitening and grafting together of both Jews and Gentiles until the time of fulfillment, as brought to Light by Apostle Paul. (Eph 3:4-10; Rom.11).

This vision is yet another confirmation in support of Daniel’s prophecies; that many would be made white – made righteous – during the latter days and is yet again another marker of where we are approximately situated on GOD’S timetable. The quickening touch of the Resurrected Branch sparks an inner work of sanctification through the Holy Spirit and the Word, that will further yield an abundance of fruit and healing leaves in this godly-pruned tree.

If you are an unbeliever in the House of Israel, you are encouraged to come to a better understanding and blessings of the merciful gift of redemption accorded to you through the Branch of Righteousness, Jesus Christ. If you are an unbelieving Gentile or a lukewarm Believer, you are also encouraged to understand that you can be made white and righteous through the same Branch and heir in this holy genealogical tree.

For if the firstfruit be holy (Jesus Christ) the lump is also holy (Jesus Christ) and if the root be holy (Jesus Christ) so are the branches (those who abide in Him; accept Him as Lord of Righteousness and sanctifying Savior). “(Rom. 11:16)

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star.”  (Rev. 22:16)

Eyes to See and Ears to Hear – Vision

Someone recently expressed concern about giving expression to dreams, visions and words of knowledge posted here.  It was voiced that such manifestations were only the workings of a subconscious mind regurgitating things of the daily world; that the mind cleanses itself through dreams. While this can be true, it is not the case when it comes to the gifts of the Spirit. Last evening, I prayed about this concern, asking GOD that I would be very grateful and thankful if He would send a vision that could explain this truth better than I could ever explain it. The following simple vision – which I could never make up of my own volition – was shown:

VISION:

In a flash vision, a television set was presented on a four-wheel, silver-colored tv stand. The television set was gift wrapped all around with a wide bright gold ribbon secured with a large gold bow on top.  End of Vision.

INTERPRETATION:

By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen (visible) was not made out of what was visible (invisible). “ (Heb.11:3)

This verse explains that it is only with faith that we can understand the existence of an invisible world which can only be seen – or understood – by those things which are visible.  How else can we, with  earthly human faculties, understand the invisible than through things which are visible?  For example, the Lamb Apostle John saw in his vision was a representation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus does not exist in heaven as a Lamb. But this beloved Apostle understood that he was being shown the sacrificial Christ and the plan of redemption in visible form.  It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words!

Consider an observer attempting to discern the meaning of something that is visible such as a painting. The observer’s goal is to understand the invisible meaning of what the artist renders. It follows that the observer considers aspects such as: colors, shapes, angles, setting, framework, etc.  By analogy, this is the case with visions and dreams.  The Artist is GOD whereas the visions and dreams are the paintings.  Attempting to understand these invisible visuals is the operation of the Holy Spirit at work in the Believer who considers all aspects from a tangible, visible and biblical perspective. (It bears noting that if visions and dreams do not align with the Word, the Believer does not recognize the artist’s work and it should be discarded. But this is not always the case – and this is very carefully noted – as things shown could be revelatory in a different way for different reasons.  GOD is not limited. And this takes a great deal of discernment in order to avoid deception.)

Back to the vision.  The television set also comes with audio capabilities.  This symbolizes the gift of the Words of Knowledge which can or might not always accompany the gift of visions and dreams.  Although the spoken word should contextually align with the written Word, they can convey revelations of things in the natural as well.  As with all manifestations of the Spirit, that too should be carefully discerned.  Because silver is biblically associated with the refined Word of God, it fits that these manifestations stand on His unadulterated Word (the silver tv stand) (Psalm 12:6). That the tv stand was portable means that these gifts are not limited to space, time and location.  As for the gold ribbon, the bow and its significance – gold is biblically affiliated with royalty. This means that the television set is a Holy-Spirit gift made available through the Lord of Lord and King of Kings, Jesus Christ. It is a gift fit for an invisible kingdom not fabricated with human hands.  And it is the operations – still in its infancy stages – of the New Kingdom which has yet to be fully established on earth.   And finally, the bow which secures everything in place is biblically symbolic of the New Covenant.

This message today might appear foolish to those who do not read and study the Word; to those whose religion or denomination does not permit them to believe in gifts of the Holy Spirit or to those who cannot wrap their intellect around something they cannot define via the scientific method or natural comprehension.  But for those who have had their senses exercised and believe with faith in the finished works of Christ and His Word; it is foolishness to believe otherwise.

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14)

Volumes could be written on this subject and for this reason, the reader is encouraged to undertake a biblical study on the topic.

Thank you Lord for answering my prayer.  May it bless those who doubt and all who read here today.

Keep the Faith,

Suzanne

Big Shoes to Fill – Vision (Revised)

In a vision this morning, I was shown white shoes on a white shoe rack in a closet. They were a man’s shoe. Upon closer examination, a little dirt and small scuff marks could be seen.

The reason I am moved to share this vision is because it points to the very important doctrine and manifestation of justification and sanctification. In brief, when we contritely accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, we are instantly justified. That is to say, justification is GOD’s righteous and graceful act of removing the condemnation and penalty of sin through faith in Christ’s atoning sacrifice. And although sanctification is also instantaneous, it is a continuous process by which the Holy Ghost gradually changes the Believer into the image of Christ.

All of us as Believers are positioned at different levels of progressive sanctification. It is important to keep this in mind as there ought to never be judgment in this regard – sanctification is a personal and unique work the Lord is doing in each and everyone of us.  And so the vision is not one of condemnation but rather one of encouragement.

INTERPRETATION:

White symbolizes purity and holiness and is biblically synonymous with righteousness. In this vision, the white scuffed shoes symbolize a Believer’s walk. A walk that has taken him to places where experiences have left their marks. And one that has consequently caused him to shelve his shoes. The walk has stopped. Life can become so arduous and the world so alluring sometimes that even a Believer can become tempted or discouraged. Evenstill, you matter so much to the Lord that you are called to come out of the proverbial closet, square your shoulders and get your shoe back on so that the precious Holy Spirit can continue to do His awesome work of sanctification. You will be immensely blessed, your light will shine bright and you will be a blessing to others!

This vision fits in meaning with another vision from years ago. A horizontal grid with square blocks ranging in color from a deep black on the far left, to a gradual gray in the middle, to a gradual bright white on the far right, was shown. At that time, the Holy Spirit was showing me where I fit on this palette.  It was an “ouch” moment and one to be taken very seriously. The Holy Spirit had more work to do in this Believer. Yes, no one is perfect, we are all into this thing together and we must persevere in the Faith!

We are living in very prophetic days when we are called to live righteously through Christ. The Lord revealed to Prophet Daniel that many would be made “white” in the latter days; it certainly points to where we are approximately situated on GOD’s timetable.  And with that I am often reminded that we ought not to put off until tomorrow what needs doing today and that to protract a great design is to put it in jeopardy.

Related Verses:

Although I (Prophet Daniel) heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end, Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. “(Dan.12:8-10)

Therefore, as through one man’s (Adam’s) offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s (Jesus’) righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. “ (Rom.5:17-19)

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.” (Heb. 9:13-15)

Flowers in Bloom

The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. ” (Songs 2:12)

In an early morning vision, the picture of a woman whose identity will remain concealed was shown. Next, I saw cloud-like hands pin the picture on a large bright colored painting of vibrant flowers in bloom that hangs in my Dining Room. Most specifically, the picture was pinned directly on top of one of the flowers. All the flowers are plum and rose like in color and all have varying hues.  A Word of Knowledge was Spoken:  “CONNECTED.

INTERPRETATION:

Flowers in my dreams and visions can represent different meanings.  But within the context of this vision, this bouquet in bloom represents a particular body of spirit-filled Believers who have attained to spiritual maturity. The same color symbolizes similar beliefs and the different hues point to unique gifts of the Spirit.

The woman being pinned on top of one of the flowers represents someone who has been Hand picked to become part of that bouquet. It fits that the Word connected was spoken because it confirms this one’s connection with the other flowers – other Spirit-filled Believers – by the Holy Spirit made available through Christ.

That the flowers were shown on canvas rather than real flowers means that they will not wither like the flowers of the field! They were created by GOD’S paintbrush and have been tempered for endurance because not all will receive them! To some they will be a fragrant aroma and to others they will have the scent of death. Like flowers carved on the golden lamp stand in the tabernacle, they will persevere over obstacles and offenses to help shine the Lord’s Light and Word into a darkened and desperate world.

A fragrant gathering has been selected to sing a unique song!  A gathering is being orchestrated in the invisible realm for the Lord’s service.

Truly, a beautiful vision!

Related Verses:

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, as peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.” (2 Cor. 14-17)

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit all. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit: To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these work that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”  (1 Cor. 12:4-13)
